| Robitussin ME Chesty Cough Forte is formulated for heavy chest congestion. It contains both the expectorant Guaiphenesin and a mucolytic, Bromhexine. Guaiphenesin increases the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract. Bromhexine liquefies and breaks down the secretions. This combination helps break up a cough by loosening congestion so you can cough it up and get it off your chest.
Active Ingredients
Each 10ml contains Guaiphenesin 200mg; Bromhexine hydrochloride 8mg.
Dosage
Every 8 hours orally when necessary. Adults and children over 12: 10ml; children 6-12 years: 5ml; Children 2-6 years: 2.5ml.
Warning
Do not exceed 3 doses in a 24 hour period. Not recommended for children under 2 years.
